Ah, Italy- you can never go wrong with the Italian countryside. This time, I went with my father and youngest brother. Florence was the first stop, and it was a gorgeous city. We spent two nights there, visiting the top of the Duomo and sampling all the gelato shops. From there, the three of us drove to Siena, where we happened upon the famous Palio di Siena, the city's annual horse race in the middle of the city square. Though it was short, it was pretty amazing. Along the way, we made stops at an old castle and various small old school towns. We finished our trip through the Tuscan hills in Pisa, a sunny coastal city that's home to that famous leaning tower. Needless to say, we ate very well during our trip.
