Sun, ocean, and seafood- Lisbon has it all. One of the more affordable European capitals, Lisbon is a great place to relax, experience great architecture, and eat really good food. Many building facades in the old city are studded with gorgeous tiles and vivd colors. We took the train to Sintra, to see the Pena National Palace and the Castle of the Moors. The Moorish castle was definitely the more interesting of the two and less crowded.
