The region known as Patagonia spans over two countries, and on the Argentina side is one of the few places in the world where you can walk on a glacier. Perito Moreno Glacier is in Los Glaciares National Park, a few hours from El Calafate, Argentina. We joined the popular "Big Ice" tour, where we hiked for 5 hours on the glacier. It was incredible. The landscape was unbelievable and just thinking about how old the ice was, was mind-boggling to me. If you ever have an opportunity to walk on a glacier, do it.
