A wedding brought us to India for the second time, and being under the wing of a local gave us a totally different experience. My friend went back to his hometown to have a grand multi-day wedding, complete with lots of good food and dancing. He showed us around Calcutta, where we bought saris and drank chai from street carts. It's a huge city, bustling and peacock- colorful. And the food was as good as I remembered it.
